WELCOME to the PAT for Humanitarian Demining website
The PAT for Humanitarian Demining project aims at adapting agricultural technologies to help landmine clearance operations in Sri Lanka. The project is carried out together with local deminers in a participatory way.
The SCOPE of this WEBSITE is to present to the international community and to all people interested the progresses of the work, hoping to seek comments and advices on what should not be done, what could be done better and what is worth keep on doing. We are presenting here all ideas at the base of the work and all results of the work, even if provisional and not published yet, because we believe that communication is essential between the scientific community and ideas, if good, should spread around.
